Episode 7- Grain orientation for turning Bowls

Listener questions -

Josh Luther (website submission) - I have a question. I have the 10×18 Harbor Freight lathe and am looking for suggestions on how to get the most out of it? I only have a Jacobs chuck and the small faceplate that came with it. I already have realized that I need to buy a bigger tool rest for it. Also, what are your guys’ opinions on the IAP Forum?

What’s on the Lathe -

Carl - Fairy garden
Jason - Playing with the MiterSet
Braxton - Black Locust Bowl with a nail, small Lindenwood Bowl
